The original illustration of the rose is a work done in watercolor commissioned to the Mexican artist Andrea Amaya by the Odette team: Galería de Flores. It is framed with an exquisite ivory frame and a gold colored Maria Luisa that accentuates the details of this beautiful work of art. It is a one-of-a-kind piece, inspired by the botanical paintings of the French artist Pierre-Joseph Redouté, who was commissioned by Marie Antoinette and the Empress Josefina de Beauharnais, Napoleon Bonaparte's spouse, in the 18th and 19th centuries.
